The high standard of synthetic ball bearings is well-known. Due to permanent enhancements there are no limitations regarding development and fields of application.
Synthetic ball bearings are the best solution in all fields where steel cannot be used due to heat, cold, dampness, bases, acids etc.
These ball bearings are solely produced by forming swarf. The procedure guarantees a high quality standard, dimensional stability and long life in contrast to mass production extruded synthetic ball bearings.
The following materials are standard for fabrication of synthetic ball bearings:
Outer and inner rings:
POM • PE • PPH • PETP • PTFE • PA • PEEK • PVDF • PSU
Balls:
Soda-lime glass • Duran glass • stainless steel 1.4401 • stainless steel 1.4571 • POM • PP • PVC • PEEK
• ceramic • PVDF
Available are also ball bearings solely made of PEEK.
A solid ceramic ball bearing is made of 100 % ceramic material. The inner and outer ring is made of zirconium oxide (ZRO2) - the balls are made of silicon nitride (SI3N4). The ball bearing cage is made of highly frictionless Teflon. Ball bearings which are high-temperature-resistant are also available without cage.
Generally the bearing is open on both sides and can be cleaned simply and quickly. We also offer bearings with a Teflon gasket for intense dirt applications, or a rubber gasket for fine-grained dirt applications.
Minimum order quantity: 10 kgs
In Si3N4 we are also able to quote for customer specific raw material.
